Scratch Assignment

OPTION 1: 3 DIFFERENT, CREATIVE SHARED PROJECTS

Create at least 3 different, creative Scratch projects and share them to your profile on the Scratch website. Write a post on your blog which includes:

1- A link to your Scratch profile page

2- Your favorite project, embedded on the post

3- A reflection (several paragraphs) discussing what you learned by creating with Scratch, how you learned those things, and what you want to do with Scratch next (both personally and in the classroom)

4- If you downloaded and used one or more example projects on the Scratch website, you MUST include the name and links to those projects in your reflection. You MUST ADD creatively to the work of someone else if you use it, you CANNOT simply copy their work and claim it as your own.

OPTION 2: 1 (ONE) BIG, REALLY CREATIVE, PRETTY COMPLEX PROJECT

Create at least one fairly complex, VERY creative, most likely AMAZING Scratch project and share it on your profile on the Scratch website. Write a post on your blog which includes:

1- A link to your Scratch profile page

2- Your project, embedded on the post

3- A reflection (several paragraphs) discussing what you learned by creating with Scratch, how you learned those things, and what you want to do with Scratch next (both personally and in the classroom)

4- If you downloaded and used one or more example projects on the Scratch website, you MUST include the name and links to those projects in your reflection. You MUST ADD creatively to the work of someone else if you use it, you CANNOT simply copy their work and claim it as your own.

  3. different backgrounds

  4. more than one sprite

  5. use of various scripts
